Primary Health Screen – £450
The Primary Health Screen option enables you to have a thorough general medical examination and a full blood profile, with same or next day results, and is suitable for those who are fit and well, wanting a check-up, or those who have symptoms that are worrying them.
The blood markers included in the primary health screen are: Full Blood Count, ESR, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Urea, Creatinine, eGFR, Liver function, Lipid profile (i.e. cholesterol, triglycerides etc), Bone markers (Calcium, Phosphate, Uric Acid, Magnesium), Glucose, Diabetes, Iron, Ferritin, Thyroid (FT4, TSH).
Executive Health Screen – £550
The comprehensive Executive Health Screen involves a more extensive medical examination, a full blood profile, urine analysis (microscopy and culture), an ECG (electrocardiogram to assess the heart) and a full health report with recommendations for health improvement.
The blood markers included in the primary health screen are: Full Blood Count, ESR, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Urea, Creatinine, eGFR, Liver function, Lipid profile (i.e. cholesterol, triglycerides etc), Bone markers (Calcium, Phosphate, Uric Acid, Magnesium), Glucose, Diabetes, Iron, Ferritin, Thyroid (FT4, TSH). A Chest X-ray can also be added to this screen at an additional cost.
Executive Heart and Health Screen (from £950)
The Executive Heart and Health Screen incorporates our Executive Health screen with a deeper investigation into heart function through an exercise/stress ECG. This “treadmill test” analyses how the heart copes during exercise. The test looks at the electrical activity in the heart while a person is running on a treadmill. A chest X-ray is also included in the price.
Well Woman Health Screen with Mammogram – £725
samedaydoctor offers a breast and gynaecological health screen for women, which includes assessment of current symptoms and past gynaecological and breast problems, urine analysis (microscopy and culture), smear test, breast examination, gynaecological examination and a mammogram. The mammography can be arranged at an additional cost and is suitable for women 40 years of age or older, up to once per year.
Other tests may be included at an additional cost including HPV test for cervical cancer risk, breast ultrasound scan, hormone tests, ovarian reserve testing, fertility testing, blood test for ovarian cancer (CA125 and HE4) or pelvic ultrasound scan.
